Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman is a fantasy adventure. Like so many other books in this genre, an unlikely group is forged together to solve a problem, or two. This book explores a world within London that goes unseen.

The atmosphere of this read is dark, underground, and mysterious. Yet the story line contains so much hope that it doesn’t feel like a dark read. I really enjoyed the unique adventure and the problems the characters faced. I haven’t read anything Neil Gaiman before but this writing was so engaging and entertaining that I’ll probably read another of his books.

It looks like it was intended to be part of a series but that second book has never been published. Or hasn’t *yet* been published.
