I absolutely loved the writing in this. It was the perfect amount of flowery and metaphorical but still grounded that I enjoy. I think my only issue with it is my general dislike for novellas. I always end up wanting more, which is better than the book dragging on, but when I got to the last page I was disappointed that it was over so quickly.
