EVER AFTER was an interesting take on a zombie apocalypse and what it means to survive when others haven't. Eva and Vivi seem like complete opposites at the beginning -- one gentle and fragile and the other hardened and cold -- but as we learn a bit more about each girl, we see they're not so different. The story raises an interesting question about only the selfish surviving an apocalypse. A lot of things are left unanswered but it adds to the ambiguous, dreamlike quality the whole story has. I wasn't a big fan of the art style but it didn't bother me overall, though there were a few times that I couldn't tell which character a speech bubble belonged to.
