The Puck Promise by Dakotah Fox
5.0
I was surprised that this story picked up 6 years into the future (from the prequel The Puck Pact) and Emmerson and Taylor were still apart, living their own lives. I was not disappointed though because in the end everything worked out as it should.
Taylor is recently traded to his hometown team, the Seattle Hawks, and at the same time Emmerson is returning home after a breakup to visit her parents when their paths cross for the first time. It didn't take long for them to realize that they were both still madly in love with the other, but that didn't mean they didn't have a ton of hurdles to jump over.
When the reason for Emmerson leaving comes out, can they work through it or will they let outside interference ruin what they've rebuilt?
If you love a heartwarming second chance with some angst and spice, definitely jump into Emmerson and Taylor's reunion to find out if they get their HEA or not.
