good series, but the more i get into, the more i realize its very repetitive. the guys are always crazed, obsessive, possessive psychos who are essentially man whores. the women are always innocent virgins. all of the men force the girl to be with them — or annoy the woman until they accept they want them. usually this is discovered when they’re questioning their sexual attraction for said awful man. not to mention the men’s obsession always starts off as a sexual obsession. with that sexual obsession is the idea/goal to destroy the one they’re chasing and then slowly they realize they want more and fall in love in the process. 

each couple is different which helps, but i wish there were more differences in them. i’ve even noticed similarities in their builds. all the men are tall and muscular and all the women are labeled as petite. 

despite this, i really do like the series and am hoping for a change of pace with bran and nikolai’s upcoming book.
