"Find someone who grows flowers in the darkest parts of you
Take heed when things get hard & don't you ever turn around
You'll find someone, someday, somewhere that grows you to the clouds
And you walked me home that evenin' when I could barely walk
And you spoke to me so sweetly on the days I couldn't talk
And now I'm seein' clearly, and I'm growin' up so free
Sweetest of the sunflowers, yeah, you're the sun to me"

- Favorite book of the series so far. I adored the friendship quality that felt naturally like chemistry which evolved into romance. It never felt forced.
- I think the understanding of each other was unique, espically since both were on paths of self re-discovory that mirrored one another where family was involved.
- Some parts felt slow, like the father ultimatum and some writing felt cheesy/unreasonable or off which pulled me from the story.
- Over all, adored the found families, reconnecting spark of childhood crushes, and banter/exchanges of chemistry between them!
