3.5 A very cozy read in a wintery setting over a Christmas holiday. The protagonist Elizabeth is a lover of books and word games. She is mysteriously summoned to a hotel, Winterhouse, which is more of a spooky manor or country house equipped with a fully functional library. This library contains some special books, one of which is quite magical. The story is great for book and mystery lovers, and those who don’t mind a little magic showing up in unexpected places.
