The Stardust Thief by Chelsea Abdullah

4.0

My fav book of the year !!

ITS GOOD OKAY IGNORE MY 4 STARS THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS AISHA. i felt no connection to her and it’s obvious the author didn’t either but other than that this book was absolute perfection <3

It’s a dual pov

Louie : she’s not ur typical mc who is automatically a badass she works for it and is scared but pushes thru her flaws and recognizes that it’s okay to need help

Aisha : I’m sorry but I did not like her her story was the same as Louie so it felt eh hoping she develops her more. She is pretty badass tho but she’s not complex like the others.

Mazen : oh how I love him he’s so soft and adorable and his pinning for Louie is everything. Him overcoming his cowardace is what I call chapter development

The bodyguard: he’s basically the dad of the group and protects his daughter ‘Louie’ no matter what he’s got some major secrets

It starts off with Louie and her bodyguard being offered this job to find a Lamp. But they have to bring along 2 ppl they don’t trust.

But along the way they meet trouble and their past and they have to put their trust in eachother

All the relationships in this book was everything

The fact that it’s based off off Hindu mythology is amazing like I knew 2 of them and having them connecting to the story was AHHHHH

Now I’m a mazen/ Louie shipper I’m really rooting for them but it’s obvious aisha likes him I’m curious to see how that’ll go.

I NEED THE NEXT BOOK MEOW
