This memoir has been sitting on my shelf for over two years and I’m so mad at myself that I waited that long to read it. I loved it, fully. Glennon Doyle is someone who used to be more closely aligned with the Christian church and for a while I looked at her with some side-eye as a result. But it seems we have similar mindsets, and our lives, at least re: religion, have followed similar trajectories (awayyyyy from the church, but still holding certain core values dear), and now I honestly could not love her and her writing more. I wrote down so many quotes. I welled up so many times. I can’t wait to read this book again and again.
