Like others have said, this is such an interesting account of the gilded cage. It’s enlightening about just how awful it is to be hounded at your every step, but also has elements of utterly tone-deaf privilege as they talk about budgeting (?!) and having to find a “Koi guy” to hire.
If you’re looking to get an unbiased account of the whole Royals vs Meghan debacle, this isn’t it.
But it’s still an engaging and well written piece with insight into the royal machine (who knew that courtiers were still a thing? Not me.)
I could’ve done without the whole “royal member” section, though. That felt like it was salacious just for the sake of it and to get attention (the very things he seems to hate in other people).
