A wonderful, humorous debut that made me feel seen as a T1D. Bernadette is getting to grips with her new diabetes diagnosis and her life as a blood witch, and deals with her family’s prejudices, diabetes issues and being a teen in middle school. 
I’m going to recommend to all my T1D friends and parents!
