3.5 out of 5 Stars: This book going in blind, I wasn't prepared for it to be as intense as it was. It does have important themes and strengths but was not expecting it. It brought me back to the days of watching Degrassi and Paige's episode with Dean.
I will continue to read the series and this book does lay some important groundwork for the second. It really makes you think and see the errors not only in the world of the book, but the wrongs in the world. I just hope after reading this people learn how they can make the impact of change.
