Holy trigger warning if you’re going to read this. However, if you’re in the place to read this, DO IT! I couldn’t put this book down. It was incredibly dark, twisted, and sick but it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I think this is probably the most messed up book I’ve ever read. I did guess that Paul was still alive since that fucked up mf seemed like he’d do something like faking his own death . However, there were still so many unpredictable parts for me. Some scenes did make me feel physically sick to my stomach and had to take a breather after reading them. I will 100% be reading other books by this author as well. Wow wow wow. I thought the ending also really wrapped up this book nicely and also loved seeing the power switch where Claire pulled Paul in with a kiss just to shoot him in the knee and absolutely annihilate him.
