The Wizard's Butler by Nathan Lowell

3.25

This was a new (for me at least) take on the standard urban-fantasy-wizards-in-plain-sight plot. The main character is hired as a butler and finds himself in an unexpected community of magicians. There's a good plot of foiling the bad guy (lady) and defeating the evil magic, but there's also a quiet focus on the minutiae of the butler's life that makes for a pleasant story.
