The second book I've read from Zhang Zhehan's recommendations that I also loved.

This was a very sentimental story. I mentioned before while I was reading it that the way the story was told was very lyrical. Not the prose, but the execution of it.

The ending was very kdrama-like and I appreciated that for this particular story because there was a degree of whimsy and magical realism involved. It's not a sad ending, fyi, which I was terrified it was going to be. I hope they make a movie out of this one because some of that imagery is burned behind my eyelids and needs to be brought to life.
