Lonely City by Warren Ellis
5.0
Wow. What can I really say about this series that I haven't already said? It's amazing. I never thought I'd find another comic book series that I'd say is comparable to "The Invisibles" in scope, genius, and capacity to change your way of thinking, but my friends, this is it.
In this volume of Transmet, Ellis uses outlaw journalist Spider Jerusalem to tackle the issues of mortality, social commentary, political sex scandal, and hate crimes. The series continues to exude genius, hilarity, and quotability while talking one of the most brillaint looks at society I've ever seen in a comic, or any fiction for that matter...
If you're a fan of Warren Ellis, comics, or just fantastic story, this series is amazing. This volume was no exception...
