Aftermath by Chuck Wendig

Did not finish book.
I don't usually read reviews before I've finished a book, not only to avoid spoilers, but also so I'm not biased in any direction going into it. But I've been so frustrated with this book that I broke that practice after my last update, and I'm glad I did. After reading just a few of the reviews, my fears were confirmed, that it wasn't just because I was listening to the audio book or only a quarter of the way through: it doesn't get better, he really is just a terrible author.

At this point I'm just going to Google to find out what happens in this one and the rest of the trilogy, but, like others have said, if you're considering buying it, I'd recommend checking it from the library and/or however it is you can read a chapter for free first to see if it's worth your time. I'm not giving up on Canon completely, I've heard excellent things about Claudia Gray's books, as well as Dark Disciple (and of course Thrawn was excellent), but I'm officially done with Chuck Wendig.
