The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

This might be one of my favorite books ever written. I remember watching the movie over and over as a teenager. Thing is, I’ve owned the book for many years now, but somehow I never managed to read it. And oh, I don’t regret picking it up again years later.

For me, this story demonstrates the perfect kind of love. This is what I want, this is what I dream of. Except the whole cancer part, obviously. But even that part shows what real love is, or at least how it should be. Love each other, no matter what. Be there for each other, always. The only thing I struggled with is the fact that they’re only just teenagers. I don’t even know many adults this wise. But maybe they had to grew up a lot faster because of their illnesses.. Anyways, Augustus Waters will be my forever crush, okay?

(Also, this was the first book that made me cry)
