The Vanishing Type by Ellery Adams
5.0

I really loved this book. This series is such a cozy place to revisit time and time again because of the strength of the bond of the characters. Nora reminds herself time and time again how lucky she is to find herself surrounded by loved ones and how their past traumas have brought them closer. She also runs the most ideal and lovely sounding book shop that I wish I could visit.

This was a complex mystery with various moving and literary pieces. I was truly stumped as to how everything was going to relate to each other (or just be coincidence) and appreciated how it all came together. The emotions run deep in this series and this one is no exception. Though there were a lot of tough situations and revelations, I loved how deep this story got in addition to all the investigating. I also really love seeing the different relationships the characters have (both friendly and romantic) and how those are maturing and evolving. I’m already hoping for happier times in the next book.
