This books was fun but stressful to read. It forces you to empathize with the main character even as she does some terrible things, self sabotages, and mentally tortures herself. There are a lot of racially based themes and questions around privilege. The author also created story lines for other books within the story that all sound incredibly interesting and well thought out. Don’t mistake this book as a light read.
Moderate: Death, Mental illness, Racism
Minor: Rape
