As great as the book is on its own, audio is the way to go if able! Hearing a grumpy yet simping Irish man in your ears is the way to enjoy this series.
This book focuses on the oldest of the brothers, Lachlan and Sloane’s best friend, Lark - both of whom we meet in B&B. And while this book is all theirs, it still gives us pieces of the first book and hints at the third without taking away from the story being told, if anything it adds to it. It was interesting to keep getting more peices of the picture as the story unfolded.
The tension in their journey to becoming true lovers was a ride, but the banter will have you laughing all the way the through. The longing is just too good to pass up, the marriage of concvience/forced pricimity will always be a favorite!
And we can’t forget about Aunt Ethel! Gosh, I wish I could sit for lunch with her - would be dying laughing the whole time.
Overall, another great story in the triology. Straight onto the next book!
