The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

5.0

I thought the writing of this book was incredibly atmospheric. I loved how Morgenstern described the circus in ways that really made me feel like I was there. She evoked all of my senses. It was a beautiful reading experience.

I was confused for a good amount of the time. I wanted to figure out what was really going on, but I think I loved that about it! It added to the charm and mystery! I didn't love the hopping around between dates, but when I stopped paying too much attention to the dates at the beginning of each chapter I began to enjoy it more.

I didn't know there was going to be a bit of a love story involved. It was intricately woven into the story and while it was a major part of the plot it didn't feel like it was the sole focus.

Loved it!
