I'm having such a run of excellent luck recently with my reading and Home World was no exception.
This was for me a five-star experience and If I adored book one this one hand's down blew that out of the water for me.
So here we continue forward on our journey with Peyton and Tahk and this is one story I was so looking forward to getting back on board with.
This is the conclusion to their individual love story but so not the end of this fascinating series thank god.

So as I previously mentioned in my review for this one's predecessor I adore aliens that actually resemble them and Tahk had that part covered in spades.
With an almost bat-like appearance, I was totally digging his alien mojo.
I also adored seeing these Aliens in their own particular habitat: fascinating stuff.
What beautiful descriptive narrative was also used to describe their homeworld, I could just picture it so vividly in my own head.

So I was originally quite peeved at Peyton's sheer stubbornness here as I thought she was a tad unreasonable in her grievances against Tahk's duty to his monarch and really should have given him a break and been more understanding really wanted to give her a shake: but saying that she was also totally correct in giving him an ultimatum and being hurt and upset over his lack of transparency when it came to his people's customs.

This behaviour was really not on, I gave him a pass because of the customs of his people: but he withheld because he thought she might be upset not because it didn't occur to him: that to me screams deception on his part.
It's still an untruth by omission in my opinion.
So I'm glad she stood firm and put her foot down over this particular matter: not that I think Tahk had any inclination to even sniff in another woman's direction: he was kinda devoted to Peyton's comfort and happiness before all others and that behaviour was actually kinda sweet too observe.

So this was slightly more angsty than book one and had a totally different vibe.
we get re-introduced to some old faces and get to meet some new.
This was a fabulous continuation of the story we originally began in Pythen, I Can honestly say I really am looking forward to seeing where this series is heading as there is just so much scope for future story growth here.
This is one new series that I am ever so happy to recommend I really did enjoy myself so much here.
I borrowed this with my KU subscription.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
