Put Aang in front of me and I will scarf the media down without a second thought, whether it’s the show, novels, or comics!

These are just really fun to read, a balm to an overly tired mind lol. I always love returning to ATLA and its characters. Definitely biased since these are such comfort reads for me!! It’s just so easy to slip back into the world when I have the past knowledge of the Gaang’s journeys.

But I love the Zuko growth arc we’re experiencing here. Being a leader at such a young age is bound to result in mistakes and confusion and the fear that you’re doing it all wrong. Honestly they all are still furthering their understanding of who they are and who they want to be. These characters are, quintessentially, still kids. And it makes this so good.
