5.0

This didn’t disappoint, equally as good as the first. Once again, I raced through this in 2 nights, it was very fast paced and hard to put down.
The story dove straight back to the cave where, Maz and Reyna are in major trouble.

Reyna remains very stubborn and almost belligerent, her constant need to fight with words can be infuriating, especially when characters are trying to help her. She’s very hypocritical in book 2, she continues to chastise Maz to stay out of her head, whilst she chooses to keep her visions of him secret. Obviously, this blows up in her face and rightly so.
I still can’t work out what Maz’s end game is and, if he really does have good motives or not. He’s definitely a tortured soul, hurtling towards a dire looking fate, whilst relying on Reynas help.
One thing I’m certain of, is his step mother is barbaric. Hopefully her comeuppance happens pretty soon.

Warning ‼️ = another cliffhanger ending
