I have to say I LOVE Beauty and the Beast retellings. It’s like catnip. Add in a LGBTQ element and it is guaranteed I’ll read it. I’ve read some bad ones but this isn’t a bad one at all. Very well written that doesn’t fall into the trap of hurrying through things to “get to the story.” I do wish the romance was drawn out a little more but I’m a slow burn kind of reader. The twist of this story was excellent and I haven’t seen before. Will be picking up more by this author.
