This short story is an intriguing prequel to the world of Rai. Jonathon Hunter dies and awakes in the realm of the Light, a creature of Rai. He seeks the people who've predeceased him and begins to accustom himself to his new world.
I'm not sure I've read a fantasy story or book based on the afterlife, and this has certainly piqued my interest. I've picked up the first book in the series and intend to delve more into the realm of Rai. It seems like an interesting YA premise.
