Circe by Madeline Miller

5.0

I don't have much to say regarding this book, because it was just amazing. Despite the fact that I have found the descriptions somewhat extensive in some places, I have not anything negative to say.

In this book,Circe becomes not a minor character in Odysseus' story, nor is she a villain or a evil witch. She acquires her own essence and tells us a completely different story than the one we all know. To be honest, her story seems more realistic than any other version I've heard. In my mind, this book is a proper answer to "Why are you so crunky? Are you on your period?"
