AMAZING. ann liang, you are my hero, you are my love, and you are an amazing writer!!! this is the second time i've read this book, and yet it still stuns me. a friend recommended it to me... and i am glad she did! i was just sitting in bed all morning, reading, and i couldn't put it down! thank you for this masterpiece!!!
henry and alice are END GAME
i was screaming, crying, giggling, kicking my feet, wailing all at the same time. (not really but you get the gist)
it was so raw, and heartbreaking, when alice couldn't go to the school in the end, and you just feel so sad. ann liang really captures and harbours all these feelings and i love her for it.
this is a perfect capturing of academic rivals to lovers... one of my favourite tropes!!!
the fact that he could?!!? i need a henry li in my life. like, now. ASAP. pls.
i needed them to kiss SO BAD the entire book, and i am so, glad it was how it was! thank you, ann. the fact that she bit him- but then the passionate kiss makes it oh, so much better!
all in all i would DEFINITELY recommend this book to anyone :)
