I absolutely adored Noah and his golden retriever attitude. I found this book to be a nice closed door and wholesome small town romance with so much family ties. Being that this is book three and I didn’t read book one and two it was still very easy to follow.
Their love and pull toward each other being enemies to lovers seemed very authentic and real. They slow burn building through the enemies to lovers narrative and it worked well in this story. I think for me the only real issue was that the pace was a bit choppy. I lagged in some areas for me but still loved the content of the story.
Charlie was a kid that really enhanced Noah’s golden retriever self and I wanted more of him. Charlie and Noah had a bond we all need. He is quick to forgive and helps Noah just as much as Noah helps him.
A wholesome family affair with a supportive community that makes for the best storylines.
