This book gave off all of the same 'women rule the world' vibes as those in The Change! Told in alternating timelines, the reader follows three women but does not immediately know how they are all connected. I can honestly say that I was invested in the fates of all three: Altha, Violet, and Kate. I must also give praise to one of the side characters, Graham. He was such a good brother. 🥹 Weyward left me feeling strong and empowered, and it included the perfect epilogue that tidied everything up. I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did, and I can see why it was a BOTM Book of the Year finalist.
