I rarely 5 star romance but I just could not put this one down!
After hating the unhoneymooners I was so worried I was not going to enjoy this but it absolutely blew me out of the water.
The characters are relatable, the conflicts are believable, even the pacing of the relationship is spot on.
I LOVED that we had a dual POV, and I’m obsessed with both the main characters and the side characters.
Praying we get a sequel for Jake’s story? Pls Christina Lauren I’m not ready to let these characters go!
The dialogue was witty and relevant to today’s language and memes/references, it had me laughing out loud at every single chapter.
The sexual tension was CHEFS KISS and the sex scenes were steamy but not too long or drawn out; they were perfect for a “traditional” romance.
Overall I was so surprised by this one, in the best way possible. Can’t wait to read more by them!
