The Bartender's Baby by Sophie Andrews

4.5

Thank you so much to the author for an advance copy of this book!

This book is out now!

I have been raving about this series ever since I read the first book of this back in the fall of 2023. And I have been obsessed with the men of the Single Dad’s Club.

The series concludes with a focus on Nate who isn’t technically a “single dad” but is an even more important role as a man who is stepping up to be a dad to his longtime crush/employee Tabby’s baby.

As Tabby states, Nate was “truly written by a woman”. He is such a great book boyfriend and is just so in love with Tabby. His feelings for her and her situation made him reevaluate what he saw in his future. He originally did not have kids in that plan but this changed his mind and essentially will change him.

Just as Tabby has changed Nate, Nate also changed Tabby. She is a little rough around the edges and he softens her. He introduced her to his world and friends whom welcomed her with open arms. In true Andrews fashion, she creates this world and characters that feel real and have real problems. I like that this strayed away from the typical tropes for romances. And I know this couple was going to get their HEA but the journey was a beautiful one to read!
