A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

5.0

This book, in my opinion, is one of the few sequels that I ever describe as being better than the original. The first seven chapters you can feel how much the events of ACOTAR left Feyre a shell of her former self, and Sarah J Maas's portrayal of PTSD is one I felt like got it right for the most part, especially with how recent the trauma still was when the book picks up. The amount of character growth in this book, I thought, was very well done, and the amount of lore in this installment of the series is insane. Much like my first read of this book, the last 8 or so chapters had me in a chokehold that I could not stop reading until I read every last word. Only this time, luckily, I did not kick myself because I had the next book hand after that amazing cliffhanger! This book remains as one of my favorite Romantasy book to date! ❤️

P.S. Fuck you, Tamlin.
