Set in 1938, this has some of the sparkle of the Great Gatsby but is centered around women who are a bit more real and weathered than Daisy Buchanan. If you enjoy funny people in their 20s figuring stuff out, this is a book for you. Looming in the background is the Great Depression and threats of World War, but mostly it's a book about memory and friendship.
