Twice in a Blue Moon
This is one that I think I’ll be thinking on for awhile, which is always a fun surprise when you mostly read romance novels.

This novel is part set 14 years ago
And part set in the now. I absolutely loved the young love story. The innocence and the bravery and just those feelings of your first love. “You trust me?”
Sam was just the sweetest young hero... until he wasn’t.
Tate has been so sheltered and so watching her kind of give in to this bravery and desire to do something reckless and romantic was so sweet to witness. And then the floor is dropped out from underneath them. Present tense Tate is 32 and a successful actress and who ends up as the screenwriter of the movie that will hopefully change her narrative-
Non other than our now grown up, still sweet and swoony hero, Sam. It’s a long winding road, with a lot of misunderstandings and some long kept secrets and truths spilling out, but the end is just perfect hopeful sweetness.

I love Christina Lauren novels because they’re usually quick, easy fun reads. This had those aspects, but also had a little more depth and feeling and it was not unappreciated. “Twice in a Blue Moon” is a second chance love story worth losing yourself in.
