everyone said not to read this book first, to come back to it as a sort of prequel as it's not her best work but i'm such a stickler for reading in chronological order so my first poirot book had to be this one. i've always enjoyed watched the movies/shows made in christie's honour so i thought why not read them all?
what everyone's said is true, this book is clearly the first and you can tell, i'm excited to see how much better the stories become. not to say this book wasn't interesting, i just felt like i had to force myself to keep reading.
