Hold Me Tight: Seven Conversations for a Lifetime of Love by Sue Johnson

5.0

The first full book I've read on love in the context of committed relationships. The biggest thing I got from this book is the need to recognize that beneath most passionate disagreements is a desire to simply be loved and held and cared for. I can get in my head too much at times, and this book reminds me to ask, "how can I go about this issue without trying to solve it, and instead, assure my partner that he is loved and cared for, no matter what the issue is?"
