⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Rating System Below)
“The Glitch” by Leeanne Slade is a mesmerizing journey that hooked me in from the very first page. The novel skillfully blends the past and present, forming a beautiful story of love, regret, and opportunities for redemption. Despite the initial difficulty in following the shifting timelines, I quickly became engrossed in Grace and Henry’s world once the story found its rhythm. Slade’s depiction of these characters is truly remarkable; flawed, genuine, and completely relatable, adding even more strength to their love story.
The twist in this book took me completely by surprise—just when I thought I had it all figured out, Slade pulled the rug out from under me in the best possible way. It totally left in awe of her storytelling skills as she masterfully added depth and complexity to an already intricate plot.
What makes “The Glitch” stand out even more is the incredible narration by Daisy Edgar-Jones, whose voice perfectly captures the emotional highs and lows of Grace’s journey. This is a beautiful, heart-wrenching story that explores the ‘what-ifs’ of life in a way that feels both magical and profoundly human. I cannot recommend this book enough—it’s a must-read for anyone who loves stories about love, loss, and the possibility of rewriting your own history.
