The Stolen Heir by Holly Black

4.0

I want to live in Elfhame. Ideally not during a time of political unrest, but live there all the same.

The Cruel Prince trilogy is genuinely one of my favourite ever collection of books, so it makes sense that I enjoyed this as much as I did. Holly Black just has a way of describing characters: from Oak’s gold-dusted horns, to the intricate details of the outfits, it’s just so… pretty.

I do have to say, Wren’s sudden change in character at the end didn’t make much sense to me? I understand why (& I did find it hilarious and loved it) but it did feel a bit… nonsensical?
