The Stone Sky by N.K. Jemisin

5.0

I really enjoyed this whole trilogy. This last volume is about family, friends and relationships. I found it better paced than the 2nd one. Overall a very good trilogy, and I usually don't care much for fantasy. But this is fantasy settled in science and science-fiction, which makes it way more palatable to me.

Jemisin is also an excellent writer, which helps. I just wished she used the expedient "rusting" a bit less... I especially enjoyed the Nassun-Schaffa arc in this book. The final act was also rewarding. Highly recommended.
