The Curious Case of the Werewolf That Wasn't by Gail Carriger

2.0

This was a short story - very short! I'd loved the series by this author, but this was just so-so for me. I listened to the audiobook, and unlike the other series, it was a male narrator for the main (there were a couple other voices in the cast) and he didn't really have an accent for the general narration (just for the speaking parts). It just didn't carry the same ambience as the other books. I might have been better off reading than listening. This featured the father of the MC in the series, and while the idea of getting a little more of a peek at his life was good, I just didn't connect with the character or the small story.
