bibliotea 's review for:
Quidditch Through the Ages
by Kennilworthy Whisp
I got to the last page and actually said aloud "aw I'm finished".
This book is great. Best for a fan of Harry Potter since it's talking all about Quidditch, but if you're someone who is just interested in sport of any kind you'll probably enjoy this too.
As someone who is not interested in real sport, I loved this book. The humour thrown in is perfect and everything is truly interesting to read about. Nothing is too drawn out or too full of boring dates. Every page is just right.
My favourite part is the poem included by Ingolfr the Iambic. It makes me laugh every time I read it and even my mum (who doesn't know a huge amount about Harry Potter or Quidditch) found it amusing.
As an Australian I'm a proud supporter of the Woollongong Warriors.
