I have not seen the Netflix movie for this but would be interested… maybe… I mean if its as creepy as the book then perhaps during the day.
The story is told from the point of view of the unnamed girlfriend - she mentions that phrase - I am thinking of ending things. Throughout the road trip she takes with her boyfriend Jake you are taken on a journey through her mind as to why that might be the case.
HOWEVER - this book will make you feel uneasy, it is promised in the synopsis and that is definitely the case. Throughout I felt uneasy and creeped out but I never quite knew why.
There isn’t too much you can say without ruining the ending and believe me you don’t want that ruined for you going into the book… But THAT ENDING!!!!! Do yourself a favour and read this book. It is weird, it is unique and it is creepy but persevere and get to the ending and be like WHAT JUST HAPPENED.
If you are like me you might need to google and check that what happened actually happened… what a ride!!!!
