Broken Whispers is the second book in the "Perfectly Imperfect" series and this is the installment that I was most eager for and it was fully satisfying in every way. I was astounded how well done this story turned out to be for me. I am definitely enjoying the writing style for this author and I can see why this author is getting so much love here. This book was beyond endearing, low angst and SWEET! Its so rare to have a mafia romance so sweet, but it was adorable! This is how an arranged marriage should be and I LOVED every single moment of it.
In this book, there is an arranged marriage between a ballerina dancer who can't speak. The hero is scarred, a single father and will do anything for his little girl. He has been entranced by the heroine, so when there is to be an arranged marriage, he volunteers for the match. The relationship between them is so endearing and low angst. I love how they connect with each other and learn each other in such a captivating way.
Broken Whispers is such an amazing story because it really captivates one immediately to the story. You will be charmed by the growth and intimacy that develops between the two and I love it when we see outer conflict in a romance. Definitely was so refreshing that this arranged marriage was low angst in between the couple. If you love mafia romance and arranged marriage, I can't recommend this one enough here.
