My favourite instalment of the trilogy, this novel continues to blur the lines between “righteousness” and “evil”. It’s full of enthralling fight-scenes, tension and suspicion, generally wholesomeness, emotional turmoil and - you bet - ✨romance✨.
Hits the ground running, doesn’t really stop, and just when you think it needs to conclude itself, you’re left on the edge of a cliff.
But in all seriousness, HOW on EARTH does Nova get so far without even being a suspect? No wonder the city is in shambles - it’s being run by a pack of people so arrogant they can’t even see what’s right in front of their smug faces.
