Previous reviews have mostly indicated the issues I had with this book. Maverick deserved better than Beau and the utter nonsense of the small-town inhabitants of Rabbit Island. And don't even get me started on Mimi and her BS reasons for abandoning her only living relative to the foster system on the other side of the country.
