Let me say I’m a fan of Brigid Kemmerer’s work but this wasn’t my favorite. To clarify this isn’t a bad book it just not what I was expecting. it’s a little slow going and the world building is non existent.  if you were after romance it’s a very, very slow burn. It does have a different element to it, instead of a love triangle there is a throuple. That part did excite me but the spice doesn’t come til you are 90% in. Too little, too late.it is a good scene though and I would love to see more. Maybe the 2nd book? This would have been entirely different if it had started a tad bit earlier. Anyway for the positives the book is filled with action. I enjoyed the Characters. The one sex scene was well done.
