Three Japanese Short Stories by Ryūnosuke Akutagawa, Kafū Nagai, Koji Uno
4.0

Reading this was like eating a pale, carby starter with lots of chewing and contemplation, then having a main course of a varied selection of veg in a colourful liquid stew to be eaten only with a fork, followed by a bright, zesty dessert with two antonymous names on the menu. The collection is an odd choice.
