Harrow County, Volume 1: Countless Haints
by Cullen Bunn
Harrow County has secrets. Witch burning, Haint infested secrets, and they all revolve around poor, sweet Emmy. When she turns 18, strange things begin to happen on her little farm. People start... changing their demeanor. It gets dark and wonderful all at the same time, with it's southern charm and it's swampy creepiness. Even the artwork is to die for. I adore it.
This isn't a graphic novel for the squeamish, and I'm not just talking about the gory bits (which there are plenty of). No, this is a series that will make you question your morality. If you like your southern hospitality saturated in blurred lines, the occult, and angry mobs, then Harrow County is for you.
*I would like to thank Edelweiss and the publisher for providing me with a free ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review*
